Growing and Learning Everyday Through Play!
OUR PROGRAMS
  1. INFANTS & TODDLERS
The Early Years are the most important years in a child's life. Brain research tells us babies grow at an incredible rate. Every baby develops at his/her own pace and babies and toddlers develop when they have loving relationships in which they can explore, learn and grow. Every child in our program is treated as an individual and given opportunities to develop language, gross motor, fine motor, self help skills and social development. Parents are welcome and encouraged to visit with their child regularly while they are cared for by our staff. Family participation is required and benefits everyone.
  2. PRESCHOOL
Preschool is a time of great discovery for early learners. As preschoolers, children build a foundation for math and reading through exposure to numbers, letters, shapes, and colors. Every preschooler is offered a variety of materials to keep their attention with a diverse collection of activities, games, and interesting themes. Children in our preschool program begin to learn how to take care of themselves, each other and their environment. Outdoor exploration and independent learning are supported through positive interactions with staff.
  3. PRE KINDERGARTEN
The preschool curriculum is aligned with the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards and emphasizes developing the necessary skills to enter kindergarten. While enrolled, your child will be surrounded with materials that are familiar and engage in hands on participation regularly. The classroom is modeled after the Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale which is recommended by the Pennsylvania Keystone Stars program. The preschool program is a pleasant and peaceful learning environment that requires student, parent and teacher participation on all levels.
  4. SCHOOL AGE
School age children need a safe place to go before school, after school and when school is closed. Families can count on our staff to offer an array of activities not always available during the traditional school day. Our program gives students many opportunities for socializing and learning. Care is available for "snow" days, school breaks and the summer months. During the summer months full day, part day and drop off programs are available for children ages 6 on up to age 12. Most summer days are spent at Airport Park with an array of activities planned. Contact the center for more information.
